Everything belongs to Sam Smith and the Bond film folks!!

I fixed the Sam Smith “Writing’s on the Wall” video for 00Q, as in cut out all the ladies and threw in Q and Bond. Those moments are filled in with cuts from Skyfall and what little there is of Q in the Spectre trailers. Once the movie’s out, expect a whole 00Q video, as this song is PERFECT for the ship.

(And hello, friends. Yes, my first true post in years is because I fan edited my ship into an HD Sam Smith video. Zero shame.)

This is what we believe AC Syndicate release day will feel like. It was also an excuse to go on a cosplay adventure. I did not have time to finish the canes before filming. Nor did I have time to finish my gauntlet (the one I’m wearing is a temporary hastily thrown together thing) We had tons of fun making it.

San Diego and Steam Powered Giraffe

Ask me about San Diego 1 year and 12 days ago, and I would have told you that it’s about 2 hours south of my house. My aunt lives there with a house full of dogs. San Diego is where Shamu lives.

Ask me about San Diego today, and I’d still tell you all those things plus more. San Diego is home to Steam Powered Giraffe. San Diego is where the world-famous Zoo is. San Diego is where I have so many fond and perfect memories. (Shout out to Shannon, Charlene, and Charlene for getting Michael Reed to sneak up on me last year!)

While SPG isn’t at the zoo, and someone else takes the Front Street Stage, I’m still so happy to be here. If not for SPG, I’d never have wanted to come here, and now it’s one of my most favorite places. Although I never saw them there, Balboa Park stirs fond feels in me as I pass by. Everything in San Diego is a trillion times more special to me.

For all this and so much more, I thank Steam Powered Giraffe.

P.S. It’s my first SPG Fanniversary! (It was the 16th, but who’s counting.) I didn’t plan to come to San Diego, but this random day trip to the Zoo has allowed me to rediscover this place and celebrate!

Also! See the bottom photo? I spent three evenings last summer upon that post, enjoying and filming. I also met the lovely Paige there on her birthday! We shared that pole, and I nearly died as Bunny sang “Honeybee” to Paige for her birthday.
